Question by mom-of-three: What would you charge some one for bird sitting?
How much would you charge some one to watch their cockatiels for five days in your home? I have a pet sitting business but I usually go to them. They want to bring them to me. I have no idea of a fair rate to charge them.

What do you mean? Birds from stores are usually always ready to be sold and are old enough to be separated from their parents. Birds are usually in stores starting from six months of age. They have to be at least 5-6 weeks to leave their nest.

Generally, the pet store provides the carry-home box.

When I had my parakeet I just sprouted the seeds that I fed her every day. Try that. Yummy. :)
